Who we are

The Sauna Planner (thesaunaplanner.com) is operated by Westernmost LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 32 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.

What we collect

The sizes and options you enter in the designer are processed by code running in your browser and are not sent to us. When you share or bookmark a design, the settings live in the page address after the question mark. We do not ask who you are unless you buy a plan.

If you buy a builder's plan

Payments are processed by Stripe, on Stripe's checkout page; we never see your card number. Your design settings are sent to our server and stored with the payment at Stripe. From Stripe we receive the email address, name and country you give at checkout, the amounts paid, the tax and the payment status.

When the payment goes through we keep an order record in our database at Cloudflare: your email address, the design settings, amounts and tax, country, the order status (including any refund or dispute) and when the plan was opened and downloaded. We use it to email your receipt and plan links, rebuild your plan when you ask, honor our guarantee and keep the records the law requires. The PDF is generated each time you download it, with your email address in its footer. When you ask for a link on the Get my plan page we store one-way hashes of the email you typed and of your IP address for 24 hours, only to limit requests. We do not use any of this for marketing and we do not sell it.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and sauna sizes people use. It sets first-party cookies and collects the pages you visit, device and browser type, and approximate location from your IP address. It receives the page address without the part after the question mark, so your design is not sent to it. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics only loads if you choose "Allow". Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage. Change my analytics choice.

Apart from Google Analytics, the site sets one cookie, and only if you buy a plan: a strictly necessary cookie named sp_plan, set when you open your plan, that lets that browser download it again for 14 days. It holds your order number and a signature, nothing else.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Fonts are served from our own domain.

The materials list links to the stores we priced. Their privacy practices are their own.
